The crunch- feats, skills, etc- only moderately reference the setting. Only slight tweaks would be needed for most of the material to fit into an advanced-tech American Civil War generic campaign. The slant in favor of the old Confederacy is also annoying to someone who paid attention to the reality of the Confederacy instead of the romanticized mythology of it.

I bought this thinking it would tell me how to play but but I need to learn D&D 3rd edition but other than that it is good to read the lore and backstory of it as well which I love. Anyway Goodman Games should make some more content for it after they finish dungeon crawl classics it need more dinosaurs (I know about the dinosaurs that never were and cretasus adventure guide which i have also)

It's a good product, but my main focus in purchasing this PDF was to see if I could adapt certain feats found inside to a D&D 3.5 dinosaur campaign without the futuristic elements. I was not able to do this, but otherwise was able to make use of the dinosaur stat blocks.
