For a free zine, and even for a zine in general, this is so good. It is obviously a labor of love. I plan to follow the series and keep on downloading as long as they let me. The concentration is on the BareBones Fantasy game, but I hope future issues will have material for all of the D 00 Lite games. What is in there is pretty awesome, and there is plenty. A new power, a new PC race, and an adventure complete with the monster stats as far as you can need them.

For 16 pages, there sure is a lot of packed in here! I really enjoyed the two-weapon fighting article, in particular, which illustrates just how nicely tweakable BareBones Fantasy is. I also loved Matt Jackson's map and short adventure, both of which are top notch.

The "Creature Corner" is interesting, offering a new monster for your game, and the random tables are right up my alley--the authors are right--they are lots of fun!

Best of all, this product got me even more excited about making my own creations for BareBones Fantasy. This is a small gaming magazine, but the quality is absolutely top-notch.

This is an excellent first offering of a Fanzine for a new game. It contains work by those working with the studio as well as fan-generated material. If you enjoy BareBones Fantasy or fantasy in general this is a great read!
