This issue is all about the chaos, kicking off with another great template by RiP-mastermind Steven D. Russell, the agent of chaos (CR +2)-template, which comes with a very extensive d%-chart for the spell-changing chaos field of the agent - nice! Even better, the class offers the deadly and disturbing pandemoniac corruption ability (which gets supported by a new monster feat) - if you liked slaad's impregnation abilities, you should also enjoy this and the new chaotic warpwave ability also comes with 20 effects (and two supporting feats)! The creature of this installment, Sylona, adds this extremely complex cool template to a water nymph, who also gets aptly-written IC-sections as well as the stunning cover art on a one-page spread. One should not forget the crescent wave-spell, an example of very good elemental spell design.

Jonathan McAnulty continues the reign of chaos with 3 creepy new holy tomes of chaos (which are hazardous to your health), the brand new mutator-feat enabling a cleric of chaos to wrack his foes or allies with unpredictable mutations. Keeping in line with the idea of the unpredictability of chaos, chaotic divine channelers can freely choose from 3 minor channeling effects, 3 combat channeling effects and 6 major channeling effects. It's small reflections of peculiarities in the rules that reflect the specific fluff of a character/ability that makes this month's installment even more awesome than usual.

T.H.Gulliver offers s a preview of his STELLAR 30 Traps for Tombs, which is in my humble opinion the best trap-book currently out there for PFRPG and a cool mini-gazetteer to boot! If you're thinking about checking it out, give his Necromancer's chessboard a try.

Michael Welham offers us one of the stars of this pdf - the Whisperer in the woods, a subtle, discord-sowing fey with several cool, unique abilities. We also get the "transmogrified" simple template.

Creighton Broadhurst's ready-made mini-encounter of the month offers us a cavern of bats, complete with terrain features etc - a nice mini-encounter to have and drop on your PCs.

Conclusion: Editing and formatting are very good, I noticed no major glitches. Layout adheres to the beautiful full-color two-column-standard used in most recent RiP-books. The pdf is also extensively bookmarked, making navigation easy. Rules-wise, the guys have gone out of their way for this issue to make it all stand in the sign of chaos and versatility and they definitely succeeded - chaos feels chaotic again and,w hile useful on its own, fans of RiP get extra oomph out of their purchases via this pdf. This being a free pdf with a glorious Jason Rainville full-color artwork and high-quality content, my final verdict is a no-brainer. You have literally nothing to lose and chaos wants you - to give this a try. My final verdict will be 5 stars.
