I cannot recommend this product more. This is an elegant solution to a problem that my d&d group has struggled with for some time - how do we deal with three dimensions in combat? You actually get two helpful solutions here: 1) tracker trees, which allow for three dimensional combat, and 2) cubes, which give height in one inch increments. No more shot glasses, bottles, or whatever else we could find lying around.

This book provides the details to construct tracker trees, as well as some useful printouts. You do need to buy some materials at the hardware store and/or art supply store, and you need to have a little bit of the crafting skill in you. I spent one whole day on the project, and the look on my players faces when I pulled them out was worth the work. I am no longer afraid of three dimensions, in fac6t, I can now embrace them!

Every once in awhile you run across an item that you can't help but think should be part of the regular WOC D&D canon. This is such a book.

The use of rituals as a model for how to deal with poisons in 4e is simply brilliant. the number and variation of poisons available is excellent, and the fact that there is a way to create new poisons makes the book even better.

If you have a rogue or assassin at your table that wants to have poisons, this book provides a way to do it. I recommend it without reservation.

This is my first Master Tiles purchase, so I cannot compare it to the others in the series. What I find amazing is the functionality of the layers used in Acrobat. You can add and subtract elements with ease, allowing complete customization. I will definitely be using this in my campaign.

Overall, this is a good product. I will definitely be using it. The only problem is that the battlemaps have numbers on them, which would normally only be on the overview map. So I will either have to edit the pages in photoshop (a time waste that I was trying to avoid by purchasing this product), or I will have to just accept that numbers will be on the battlemap.

Don't buy this product. The final map in the booklet is wrong. It is a repeat of the first page, and doesn't complete the map correctly. If this is the sort of editorial control that I can expect from Story Maps, I will not purchase any more of their products.
