While this is a spartan story generator system (meaning you will have nothing but a basic plot outline in the barest sense) it is non-the-less one worth the spartan price tag. It is simplistic, and generates some odd results on occasion, but it is a great seed starter.

You will need to do a lot of fill work with this (NPCs, scene development, tie-ins) but it will get the creativity flowing if you let it.

I would have rated it higher if it had been more diverse in the lists you roll for. Using a D8 and D8 cross-referenced you arrive at 64 possible entries... I think they may have "run out" of things to put on the lists and struggled a little bit, which leaves the system feeling a little forced.

I would have rated it lower if it had cost even twenty-five cents more.

I absolutely love this product. It's a simple concept, easy to use and very useful. It's perfect for giving you an idea for an adventure, a starting seed you can combine with your imagination to make an adventure. It's an excellent deal, very worth the money.

For the $2 I paid, I got a good value. There are literally over 1 million possible adventure seeds you can generate with this product. I was, however, disappointed to see that the "locations" table had a typographical error in it.

A good generator to help you come up with interesting ideas for an adventure. You can get some really wild stuff, that may not be usable, but is always fun to try to figure out how to use it. For 2 bucks it is definitely not bad.

Solid idea, fairly simplistic approach. Ideally, I would have preferred something a little less generic with some additional options for adding flair and interest to one's results, but this is a solid offering and exactly the kind of product that gets the imagination going.

Not a bad little resource. For $2.00, you really can't go wrong, and the tables provided do cover a multitude of possible adventure seeds.

PROs: Offers a ton of possible adventure scenarios in an intelligent, easy-to-use format. Editing and grammar are, thank goodness, well-done for once.

CONs: Don't be surprised to roll up some pretty odd scenarios. While this is not necessarily a weakness -- and the author makes it clear that this will happen -- it can still be a little awkward. If it does happen, you can always re-roll if necessary.

Remember that this resource isn't meant to provide a complete adventure, and doesn't claim to -- instead, it generates the main plot idea for a GM to develop. Definitely worth it.
