An exceptionally good idea, with applications beyond Japan. The rules are useful in any high-speed train or subway scenario. The only criticism I have is the lack of detailed diagrams of the interior of the train. A few photographs of the interior would also be useful. The brief histories of terrorist groups and opponents were well done, if brief. I feel I got my money's worth.

The details of the train itself are thorough, very useful and rarely covered in RPGs that I've seen, as are the rules for fighting on the outside of the train. The Military and Espionage/Sci Fi scenarios are OK, though not at all developed in terms of what might happen after the setup (presumably the GM is supposed to read between the lines and arrange for the fight to move to the outside of the train, so that she can use all the juicy details for doing so). The characters are simply "insert generic bad guy" and not an inspiring, or even thoughtful, use of the d20 rules.<br><br><b>DISLIKED</b>: It annoys me that the author refers to "insert random zombie attack" as a Horror scenario.<br><br><b>QUALITY</b>: Acceptable<br><br><b>VALUE</b>: Satisfied<br>
