The Air Ace is a d20 Modern Advanced class (10 levels) for players who want a character modeled after such aviator Pulp heroes as G-8, Dusty Ayres, and Bill Barnes. There is also a short flavor text intro in Pulp Fiction style that introduces a Thrilling Tales Air Ace "iconic", Barnstormer Burton.

In addition to the Air Ace Advance class, this PDF includes a 10-level NPC "class" for the Air Ace's Signature Aircraft which grants "virtual" feats to the pilot and/or crew when operating that particular aircraft, even if they don't possess the feat or meet the requirements. It's really a neat idea worth checking out.

I felt this class managed to capture this classic archetype of the Pulp genre very nicely without sacrificing game balance with the other existing d20 Modern classes. <br><br><b>LIKED</b>: I particularly liked how the Air Ace's class features were written in such a way they could be used "regardless of what particular d20 vehicle rules system" your campaign might be using. And like the Man of Mystery, the layout and inclusion of classic Pulp art are great.<br><br><b>DISLIKED</b>: While the Air Ace is a little meatier than The Man of Mystery was, I think including a sample Air Ace like Barnstormer Burton and his particular Signature Aircraft would have been nice. <br><br><b>QUALITY</b>: Very Good<br><br><b>VALUE</b>: Satisfied<br>
