Mythic Britain: Logres

Logres derives from Lloegyr, which is the Welsh word for the region of Britain that was distinct from the Cymric lands that we know as Wales and, Cornwall (Kernow). In both Mythic Britain and other sources that try to reflect the 'historical' situation of the 5th and 6th Centuries, it's accepted that these lands were most likely dominated by the Saxons, displacing the Celts and Romano-Britons of the time. The Logres of King Arthur is a romantic use of term, rather than the context we've used for the Mythic Britain setting (Arthur isn't a king - simply a powerful warlord).
