Oh my goodness! It's a few form-fillable, custom character sheets!  UPDATED JUNE 2018

The first sheet is for experienced players. I really liked the aesthetics of the official sheets (they're super nice!), but I often ran out of room where I needed it, and found myself keeping track of things in the margins. The purpose of this redesign is to use more space on the page. If you're familiar with the game mechanics, this can be a useful alternative to the official sheets, but it could be overwhelming for new players.

The second sheet is for beginners. Although I use it for kids, this sheet is really useful for introducing anyone to the game. It's best used for low level, premade characters. This is because the design hides a lot of the technical terminology and working, like the profiencey bonus. The aim is for the DM to shoulder a lot of the math, so anything that affects the way the character rolls should be boiled into the sheet — it favours a more loosey-goosey game style.

I like this overall, but the download is different than the preview. Specifically, the spell slots are detailed on the first page of the preview and are not on the download. This was a selling feature for me. Can I please get the preview version?
Two other small things: 1. I don't see the place to record passive wisdom (perception), 2. It would be nice to edit spell slots (my character has extra slots through magic items)
Thank you!

Hi there! I love the sheet an wanted to give you some feedback. I noticed Nature is listed as a wisdom skill when i believe it is intelligence. I really like the way you've done this though, great job!

Quick question....why 2 ticks next to skills? Can you somehow get double proficiency?
and a weight column in the inventory tracking would be awesome.

Yes. Rogues and Bards get an ability called 'Expertise' which allows them to get double proficiency in certain chosen skills.
There's also a feat that allows other classes to do this as well. (Obviously bards & classes can use this feat to gain expertise in extra skills).

Hey! I have been running the edition since playtest and love your sheet. I have some minor feedback thought if you are looking to further refine this.
In your weapons and attacks block...if you could remove 2 of the 7 rows and replace them with tickable circles for ammunition instead of having the ammunition column. Perhaps 2 rows of 20 circles for ammo tracking.
Same thing in the inventory section. A couple entries with tickable circle tracking for marking off items we get multiples of and use often. eg. rations, healing potions, oil flasks, torches.
Graphics on the portrait frame and info block are weird.
current hit points and conditions text boxes don't function with multiline.
Overall still possibly the best character sheet available. Highly recommended.

Hey Christopher,

Glad you're enjoying the sheet! Sorry for leaving your post so long without a reply — I don't think my notifications are set up properly. I will absolutely add your tick suggestion for the inventory section next update, because I think that page could be more functional. The two ticks in the skills section is denote expertise, where some classes can add their proficiency bonus twice. I've just updated the sheet some more, so if you've found any other issues, please let me know. My goal is to get it functional first, then work on making it pretty.

Scanned image
These products were created by scanning an original printed edition. Most older books are in scanned image format because original digital layout files never existed or were no longer available from the publisher.

For PDF download editions, each page has been run through Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software to attempt to decipher the printed text. The result of this OCR process is placed invisibly behind the picture of each scanned page, to allow for text searching. However, any text in a given book set on a graphical background or in handwritten fonts would most likely not be picked up by the OCR software, and is therefore not searchable. Also, a few larger books may be resampled to fit into the system, and may not have this searchable text background.

For printed books, we have performed high-resolution scans of an original hardcopy of the book. We essentially digitally re-master the book. Unfortunately, the resulting quality of these books is not as high. It's the problem of making a copy of a copy. The text is fine for reading, but illustration work starts to run dark, pixellating and/or losing shades of grey. Moiré patterns may develop in photos. We mark clearly which print titles come from scanned image books so that you can make an informed purchase decision about the quality of what you will receive.

Original electronic format
These ebooks were created from the original electronic layout files, and therefore are fully text searchable. Also, their file size tends to be smaller than scanned image books. Most newer books are in the original electronic format. Both download and print editions of such books should be high quality.
